Ecco wanted to create a new independent brand that could compliment ecco’s product portfolio. The brand was to be a showdown with the sensible and, according to consumers, a little rational shoe. Shap has its own disruption and its own shop n shops. Shap was created to shift consumer perception and break down prejudices and a dream assignment for a design-oriented agency.

Location: Copenhagen, Los angeles, New York and Paris

The photo should support the shape, like a human silhouette that creates a figure. Women change their attitude and shape in high heels and walk on tiptoe. Shape is very inspired by the Japanese and we perceived the figures the models make as brush strokes on paper. We created a brand with its own language and expression that worked from store to media

Shape Metropolis was executed on a windy skyscraper top in August 2021 in New York. The text and inspiration were created in the moment.

Shape has been inspired by urban landscapes that stretch their silhouettes like gray mountain ranges against the horizon. A drama both terrifying and captivating.. The sky shoots beams of light like a projector onto the gigantic building bodies that reach toward the heavens like outstretched fingers. The city is a mountain, its shadows graphically stretching over millions of lives. Welcome to Metropolis and its fascinating and dramatic world.
